Very small 2.5x3.5 inch card I made for Tak! A lovely gal I met at Anthrocon!
Sorry it took so long. We hang out again?
RANDOM QUESTION?!
Okay...is anyone else confused on WHY when you breed a Kangaskhan you get the adult version instead of the baby?! I mean...it doesn't make any logical sense! Why not make the baby an Official Baby Pokemon? And...it evolves when it gets pregnant. DX

Omg...Tigsie this is just wonderful! I love the colors, the shading, the warm fuzzy feeling of the picture, its all just perfect!!!
I'ma go on a Poke'rant here, hope you don't mind ^^;
I think its a little odd that the newly hatched Kanga has a baby in the pouch at birth.
I do NOT think that the baby Kangaskhan should be its own specially named baby Pokemon like MimeJr, Pichu, Igglybuff, etc. because it isn't a completely different Pokemon from the parent.
I look at it from this point of view. Take a look at rinos, a baby rino is exactly like the parent. Granted, the baby is a lighter shade and is smooth since its young, as opposed to the parent that is weather worn, lumpy, wrinkly, and a different shade. Parent and child look a bit different, but you don't call a baby rino a completely different creature than the parent. Correct?
Now, in regards to the males of the species I think of it like the complex ways of real life animals. Some females chase off the males and raise the young themselves. Basically, I like to think that male Kangaskans are just terrible at parenting and are more of a hazard than help to the young. Case and point being a silly comic I made here => http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2192713/
Since males are just bad at parenting, this is why they are chased off into the deepest, darkest corners of the Safari Zone and just seem to "not exist" in the Poke'World.
This is all just my opinion, but yeah ^^;
End rant XD

Non-Tl;Dr explanation-
The mom you're seeing in the image of a newly born kangaskhan is the female kangaskhan you just bred. After a certain amount of time, the baby in the pouch grows up and acquires a pouch baby of their own,
They grow up very quickly, by the way, Somewhere around level 2 or 3.

I adore precious moments like this... They are just touching, an heart warming heh.
An for the Pokeside, I guess it's harder to suddenly add a new Pokemon that can already be seen then it is to just say. "Oh you didn't look hard enough." With things like baby Chansey hehe. If anything it doesn't make logical sense to us, but in the Pokeworld it's just well... Logical hah.
