I DEMAND a closure story between Locke and Knuckles!!! They got in that terrible fight in the comics, but never made up...and I don't think Knuckles ever got over that after his father died. Regardless of whatever happened, I know Locke will always be by his side.
So bored and frustrated! I found this while cleaning my room and decided to give it some color FLAVOR! I drew it around the time I graduated. Monotones are FUN! Now all my blue markers are dead. FFFFF.

Think this pic is great though I still don't care much that Locke is gone, the guy was a doosh that was willing to kill his own son to cover his own ass until he got talked out of it. They may have given him a "noble" death and all but personally I don't think that makes up for all the bullcrap he did throughout the series.

Sometimes I think so few people get the complexity of the relationship between Locke and Knuckles. You captured it well here. Anyone who says Locke didn't have affection for his son doesn't understand how complex parent/child relationships can be.

Looking through your art, I've really come to like your serious treatment of Knuckles as a character. Most people like to emphasize his impulsiveness and anger but you show a more thoughtful and softer side to this hardy warrior. This particular image of him with his father really pulls at the heart of the viewer and you can't help but have some empathy for him. It's just fantastic!
