basic sumo rule

1. He appears outside a sumo ring
2. He touches the ground anything other than his sole

He loses in both.

But the first rule isn't applied when a sumo wrestler can float both legs of the opponent.
Even if a sumo wrestler appears outside a sumo ring, he doesn't lose.
The winning trick is called Turidashi or Turiotoshi.

Of course the second rule is applied.
