Cool idea! I like the way you did it too, I'm sure it'll be a great tattoo. :3 Only thing is the thumb could maybe use a bit more work, I think. Especially compared to the other fingers which are done real well. The top seems a bit round and the bottom a bit thin. I would take a picture of your hand if you have to and get a more realistic shape. I think it also doesn't match the other fingers 'cause they have more detail. Like the creasing of the joints.
I hope this doesn't sound mean, I'm a bit tired and out of it. But I mean well. ^-^

I agree with you on the detail part, the thumb needs more. The first version of this, I actually took stamp ink, spread it over half of my hand, and just pressed down on a piece of paper. That was my ref. for this version, but it wasn't quite right.

Thats a cool way of doing it! If think either refine the thumb so it looks more realistic or make the fingers more inkish and less detailed...If that makes sense. x.x

I want it to look more like a really defined hand print in wet sand, or snow, not so much just finger prints, thats why I didn't use the first version. I definitely have to add the crease lines in the thumb, I'm suprised I forgot about that.
