Kito shrugged. “You and I have very different definitions of lightning rod.” He watched as Shino strapped it around his waist, eyeing the device with keen interest. “How do you plan on testing it?”

“I’ve got a few battery packs lying around, best guess is I hook one up to the tesla array and give it a zap.” Shino’s face fell as he saw Kito grin and pull something out of his pocket.

“Or we could just do this.” he said as he aimed the taser right at Shino’s chest and fired, the electrical pulse going straight into his body. Shino immediately convulsed as the charge passed through him, but it wasn’t a convulsion of pain. Rather it was one of pleasure as his belt converted the AC current into a torrent of harmless energy flowing through him, sizzling down his veins with fiery abandon.
