i actually have them on dvd a yahoo group devoted to the raccoons a few members uploaded the episodes to megaupload a couple years ago i downloaded them all and burned them to dvd

Not ALL the songs were officially released, only 9 on the rare LP Evergreen Nights, but the unofficial fan site has them for download.

It wasen't really noticed in the USA. It was a cult hit in the UK though, where it's avaliable on DVD (Seasons 1 and 2 in Region 2 PAL format), it was aired on Canada's Teletoon Retro as well, I'm unsure if it's still airing there though.

If you're info is acurate, then you should include that on The Raccoons Wikipedia entry. But despite being aired on the US Disney Channel (which I all ready knew about), the show didn't increase in popularity, at least not in a very large amont. It was a bigger hit in the UK, due to the BBC's endless repeats of the show, ever since it started airing here in 1987, until 2002.

It's OK. I can understand not seeing something for a while can be tricky to remember. :) If you live in the UK it's out now on DVD and that episode 'The Intruders' is on the 1st season set.

Series 1 and 2 are avaliable now on DVD in Region 2 PAL format from the UK by Fabulous Films ltd. Hopefully the other series will be released soon. :)

And after that the specials. :)

dang now im gonna have to get them i live in the us an i checked bestbuy and they have them on back order but soon i shall have the set.

Hmm Best Buy. I wouldn't rely on them. The only DVD's that were released in North America were six DVD's, or two 3 disk box sets, released by Morningstar Entertainment, these titles are now out of print. The only way to buy English DVD's at the moment is by purchising the region 2 UK DVD's. It will be less expensive to import them to the UK, then pay collector's prices for the Canadian DVD's, but I suppose if you look online you might be able to find those ones for cheap.
