That moment when your friends are on the ground around you, beaten and unable to stop a hoard of enemies. They had rushed ahead to protect you but couldn't stop the enemy. From the bushes your hiding in you spot an enemy preparing to attack one of your beaten friends as they struggle on the ground.

Gotta step in fast!

Without hesitating, you catapult out of the bushes, lunging at your opponent with all your strength. In one paw, a faint blue glow appears as water energy from the surroundings surges into a focal point. The enemy turns to see the oncoming attack! But, they are completely caught off guard!

With a mighty roar, you yell, "BACK OFF!!!"

You throw your paw forward slamming the water pulse into their chest. A bright light flashes on impact and the pulse detonates sending the enemy hurling backwards. They tumble chaotically against the ground, limbs flailing until they come to a 'dead' stop. The shock wave from the blast shook the surrounding enemies, causing them to flinch as leaves fell from surrounding trees. Beads of sweat roll down their faces, unsure of how to continue. You raise both paws up, each beginning to glow as two more water pulses form. As you stare down one enemy and mutter under you're breath,

"No more hiding..." and take a stance. "This time, I'll protect you."

Got to play around with a drawing tablet while in the school library. This piece is rough but I wanted to try my hand at something a bit more 'action-y' so I decided to combine a classic Naruto Rasengan with a bit of One Punch Man sprinkled in for inspiration. This would have taken forever to do from scratch with just a mouse and keyboard so I'm pleased with how this one came out.
