Here’s a rough sketch up of another OC predator of mine, Drake.
Drake Alan was a thirty year old veteran who was wounded overseas and returned home, mentally and spiritually broken, and of course, missing his right arm. As a former soldier desperate in more ways than one, he was quick to volunteer for an experimental procedure meant to create super-soldiers in the hopes of combating hostile inhuman threats. After all, Drake just wanted to serve his country in any way he could because, unfortunately, he really didn’t know what else to do with his life, especially afetr coming back wounded and, in his eyes, ‘worthless.’
The procedure successfully regenerated Drake’s arm and gave him immensely enhanced abilities. However, what Drake wasn’t told was that the procedure would transform him, robbing him of his humanity and turning him into a beastly monstrosity. Manipulated into become a beast, Drake’s already frail mind broke, driving him mad with rage as he slaughtered and devoured the very scientists that mutated him against his wishes, and turned him into the very thing he sought to combat.
Drake’s exo-skeletal exterior is like a thick armor, capable of withstanding heavy gunfire, explosions, and providing shock absorption from high altitude jumps, allowing him to fall several stories and not feel a thing. He’s impossibly strong, capable of tearing through metal with his fangs alone, and of course, his altered metabolism has given him an unbearable appetite that’s almost never satiated. His mind is completely fractured. He feels nothing but uncontrollable rage and hatred. How much of that was from the procedure and how much of it was burrowed deep within, however, is anyone’s guess…
Of all my predators I’ve had in the works, Drake’s probably the saddest of the bunch. Deep down, he was troubled, but he always tried his damnedest to do good, and being betrayed by the very government he’d already given so much to…on top of being mutated was the final straw that completely broke him. Even as a predator, he doesn’t savor having his belly filled to the brim with squirming prey. He just needs to eat and eat until his stomach stops nagging at him. Fortunately (or unfortunately), his mind nags him just as much. Meaning he’s either devouring or butchering any who dare cross him as he continues to seek out anyone who can make him human again. And those who can’t, well, they’re dead meat…literally…

Haha, yeah, he's definitely had a bad string of luck. Sadly, sorry as one might feel, he'd...well, probably still just maim anything that so much as looked him. O_____o;
Well, there's the larger guild, ninjas, mercenaries, and inhuman elements which act as both heroes and villains. Hakari's an altruistic inhuman, someone like Koloss and Cadmus are dangerous inhumans, neither of whom regular powerless humans can fight. Drake was meant to be a deterrent against inhumans like them, and instead, was turned into an inhuman himself, and is more or less like a rogue element; a raging monster who has neither side, just either wants to be made human again or kill anything that gets in his way. Someone like Cadmus would probably try and manipulate Drake by steering him down a path that Drake THINKS could lead him back to being human again, when instead, it's Cadmus getting Drake to do his dirty work. And in contrast, Hakari might find himself being forced to confront Drake, and helping human allies out to stop him and figure out if there's any way to genuinely help him.
