Here is a highly experimental piece. I really want to do more of these full Illustrated scenes with complicated backgrounds. My goal was to create an ink drawing that stands on its own as a traditional piece of art, but gains new life and hits a whole new level when digitally colored. I also wanted to imply some kind of open-ended narrative.
The character was born of a page of mindless doodles and as such, She is totally different from anything I would consciously design. I really like her and I want to do more with her. She's so pretty and graceful. I see her as an elegant fairy dancer of sorts.
