Coincidentally I was just reading a book on digital art last night where an artist said that the personality of a drawn/painted character was in the details. This work is a perfect example of just that.

absolutely amazing work. Such an amazing amount of details, and the contrast, with monchromatic, is aweing. At first I thought these were oils due to the details and lighting, but I see I was wrong. The golden yellow you used gives it that almost holy glow which really adds to it. This makes me want to paint with acrylics really bad now. XD Amazing job
