"You've been a good friend, in the short time that I've known you. But now I must go.."
I first played Oblivion when I was around 8, and it feels so good to come back to it 12 years later with a new appreciation and the ability to express my love for the game through my art and characters. The Elder Scrolls as a whole have been so influential in my development as an artist
EDIT: refresh for not shitty image size lmao

Ouch, skyrim and its 7 other twin releases will be feeling that one for a while! Honestly I know it'll probably never happen but I'm hoping for a morrowind remaster one day! my bud only has the highest of compliments for it, and its (spell system?) but the old art of it makes it really hard for me to dip my toes in. I've not touched skyrim in years but that multiplayer mod looks sooooo good. it might pull me back in, as hard as I try to fight against it.
oh yea ive been watching Skywind veerrry closely, it looks really good! Not as professional as a full official remaster but it still looks p damn good! I don't really mind the old graphics too much, its the writing that really draws me to it! Especially the conflict in regard to the player character, which is entirely absent in the dragonborn power fantasy lmao
Fair enough, not even counting it's biggest strength, I don't have to murder cute dragons for power. Honestly my biggest gripe with skyrim is the developers not accounting for you wanting to team up with the dragons, instead of... well the two other really damn jerkish factions lmao. lemme tell you playing as an argonian CERTAINLY didn't make me feel fondness towards most nords.
