You know? I am considering writing a fanfic where they sort of do become good. Basically after they were blown away by the Roar, they ended up having Jiwe, but their son comes down wit ha sickness, so they have to take him to the Tree of Life to heal him. Needless to say their return stirs up some bad feelings.
Another story I worked on was one where Vitani was really the daughter of Scar and Nala. My friend and I actually completed it, but we are currently updating it to make it mesh better with what happened at the end of the Lion Guard. I actually have a bunch of pics of Vitani and the family she has in the story. A lot of it is based on old ideas, but the idea of Vitani having a family is still canon.
