Best character in the comic. The writing and dialogue was very childish, but I kept reading just for her to show up again.

Finally someone else who read Super Dinosaur

Wow...just found out there was a cgi series...and Derek is even MORE annoying. He's the child hero who is a smug "Aren't I so cool?" brat...only unlike the other child heroes, he NEVER has an event happen that gets him to become a more likeable person. Bad things happen, and the moment he stops moping about them, he goes right back to being a self-congratulatory jerk. It's like he was created to be a parody of kid heroes in cartoons or something. I think that was the motive of his creation in the comics, but the animated adaptation missed the point and ran with him as an asshat instead of making him more likeable.

Solution: Make a spin-off about the Dinomen

Eh, at least Chopchops is more good-looking in the cartoon
