This is a tool I have actually wanted to get for some time, but they were kind of pricey on ebay. This one here, however, was not.
It was coated in lead paint when I first got it and had a lot of rust that made made it a bit inoperable. I let it sleep in a bath of Evapo-rust for a a day and one night so it could remove all the rust and then after hand brushing each piece I got it back together. It works great now and will be fun to use.
I don't quite know the brand/company/make behind this tool, but I do know these have been made for quite some time and there are newer models still made.
The types of screws and nuts on this seem to make it a later model that is maybe near 1790s-1900s I can't really gauge it well, since there is scarcely any sort of identification on this.

I have two working units and one that has a broken tooth. Flea markets are also a great place to find them. 6'and 3' wheels for the working one's. I use them in my shed when I do not need to use electricity and I met someone that thought it would be great on boats to make quick repairs.
