Patrick was out and about in the beautiful lush forest. A nice get away from the city life; he always loved the outdoors. Wearing a blue tee shirt and tanish cargo shorts, the wolf made his way through. As he moved past large trees with beautiful leaves adorned on them, a feeling of heat could be felt. Something was particularly warm behind him. At first Patrick thought it might been a break of shade between the trees. But the heat was getting more hotter by the minute. It wasn't until he sniffed that Patrick could smell something rather common; a fire. He turned his head making his eyes go wide with shock as trees lit up like candles quickly.
Immediately, Patrick went from walking to sprinting in a split second. In full panic he kept hustling around trees as the heat and fire were catching up to him. The wolf then ran into an immediate dead end as flames were in his ways. He decided to climb one of the trees already seemingly burnt. They kept on climbing as the flames barely missed him. Patrick using all his strength moved up till he reached the top of the tree with a strong branch to sit on. He held onto the base of the tree with a bit of fear welling up inside. The wolf didn't want to go out like this. Flames lit the area below as he looked around; bare trees were all they could see.
Suddenly, out of the red orange sky, a large round shiny blue balloon appeared! Though as it got closer, Patrick could see it had four stubby limbs, a large pointed tail, blue dragon mask, a white belt, and the letters "BB" on their chest. It was the Blue Bouncer! They spotted Patrick getting closer to him.
"I'm coming good sir! Thank goodness I was here just in time!" said the inflatable hero. His bloated arms and gloved hands started to reach towards the wolf. Patrick reached out with one arm shaking a bit from not wanting to fall. Blue Bouncer soon was close enough for him to grab his hands.
"Grab my hands I promise I will catch you!" the assured.
Patrick of course never felt more scared in his life but saw that Blue Bouncer was getting hot due to how much heat it was generating from fire. It was now or never; so he let go of the tree and hopped up into the blue dragon hero's awaiting arms. Thankfully Blue Bouncer wrapped their bloated arms around the wolf in a big tight hug. Patrick never felt more relieved and overwhelmed in his life. They started to float away whilst the wolf held onto the hero as much as he could hugging their bloated masked head.
"Its okay buddy...you're safe. Just remain calm till we get to safer ground. What is your name good sir?" asked Blue Bouncer.
"P---Patrick Nightwind….." replied the shaky wolf.
"Patrick we'll get you all taken care of. I need a good drink of water; heck I think we both need a good cool refreshing drink of water," said the dragon hero sighing calmly.
The wolf just nodded holding onto him as they continued to float away from the flames.
