This is a scene from feral Arix's past, when he lived in a clan with many other dragons and humans. The two seen here were his fellow warriors in the clan. Arkadi, the green guy with the whippy tail, liked his speedy hit-and-run tactics, defeating enemies with a thousand cuts while never having a claw laid on him in return. On the other hand, Ociore the black was the brute of the group, crushing foes with his ridiculous might. Together, they formed quite a team - Arix being the tank to direct enemy attacks onto himself, Arkadi harrying them with a few quick strikes, before Ociore would come in and smash them down. Their duty was to defend the clan from rivals, and they did a pretty good job of it.
Of course, this was his past. Arkadi and Ociore are both long gone now, but Arix likes to think their spirits still fight alongside him in his struggles.
