A gift for a close friend who roomed with me last FWA. We're both Minardi fans, so I wanted to draw our characters in two distinct, memorable outfits of the Italian team. :)

I can't not see the M01 and not think of poor Luca Badoer, Europe 1999. The feels are still too much.
The M189-M191 line are some of my favourite F1 cars as well, and the M191 will always be remembered as the only Minardi to recieve Ferrari power, excluding the Toro Rossos that ran the engine after Red Bull bought out the little team.

That was a heartbreaking moment, but it's one of the things that makes us love privateers so much. To be honest, I still cheer for Toro Rosso, despite not being a fan of the exaggerated Red Bull branding. Being a kid in the 90s, playing many F1 games, Minardi was always there as a very likeable team for me, so many fond memories <3
