Marigold Ambroise/ Gold Commander

Mid Twenties - Red Dragon - 5’8” - Degree in Thaumaturgical Engineering - Leander’s Intern/ Florentine’s Biggest Fan - She/Her - trans - pansexual

A wunderkid and perhaps the only Thaumaturgical Engineer Leander could convince to head up his wild plans. By day she acts as his intern/secretary/gopher, and by night helps lead engineering and development on his Elder Dragon project. Mild mannered in one job, and perhaps a little over the top and enjoying a villainous persona a little too much in the other.

In Marigold’s opinion she got her dreamjob out of school. She gets to make cool machines, she has access to cutting edge research from the Library, and gets to live out her villain fantasy by leading a gaggle of minions. As such she’s got kind of a divide in how she presents herself: as Marigold she’s shy, nervous, and generally quiet. As the commander of Leander’s minions the disguise lets her be loud and over the top. In both versions she’s a turbo-nerd.

The problem is in spite of all her efforts to be commanding and dominating, she just kind of loves getting owned. Winning is great, but losing and having her machines turned on her is double great. This is quintuple complicated by the two people she admires most: Leander and Florentine. If she wins, she gets Leander’s approval, if she loses she has to hide getting turned on by being chewed out. She absolutely admires Florentine’s work and wishes she had that knowledge of magic and theory, and because of that she usually only gets the upper hand through numbers or brute force solutions.
