I decided to make one more thing based on the theme of the week from
poetigress thursday prompt: silver

The silver sphere
They say it appeared as a flash of silver in the sky during some summer nights every year. Always followed by strange dissapearances and other unexplainable things.
Last year I saw it for the first time of my life. I was 15 years old and only thought of it as an urban legend. But there it was, quickly flying around, sometimes stopping for just a few seconds before flying somewhere else. What was it and what was it doing?I followed it with my eyes wherever it went, eventualy its general path became my direction and it was flying lower and lower. It stopped close to me, it looked like a sphere, no windows or anything else breaking the smooth surface. Was it an UFO? Some kind of experimental military aircraft? I quickly picked up a rock and threw it at the silver sphere. It went into it, making a small ripple on its surface that died out right away.
A second later it flied off again.
It's summer once more, I wonder if I'll ever see it again.
