In terms of society?
The species split is roughly along economic lines.
Top to bottom:
"Pure" humans
Exotics (basically anything not listed below)
Dogs
Cats
Rabbits
Rats (some other rodents, but rats are the majority)
Technically everyone's human, it's just several generations of nanotech/biotech and social engineering -- and one can change categories with enough resources.
Economically, you'll see some drift between bordering groups, but not major jumps due to various reasons.
