This is the second Gaster Data file, and this one elaborates on a fair bit of things. Above all else, it introduces something that a friend of mine by the name of Talisman helped me come up with the name for. Specifically, Phasmite Thaumatic Units, or Spirit Magic Units (the more common version of the term among non-scientists), or PTU and SMU.
PTU basically is meant to represent the magical energy and power a soul has within it. This basically tells someone who can scan for such things just how powerful a Monster, Human, or Non-Monster is or can be (especially in the part of humans and non-monsters). You may notice the mention of Potential PTU for Chara's human soul, and this is tied to something of a headcanon of mine both generally and for this universe that has magic for Humans being more of a learned skill, it requiring time and effort to build up the magical pathways needed to use the magical energy in their soul. Monsters, by contrast, have it inborn within them and making up their very being, so they can access that magic from a very early age (whether they access it with any degree of skill being highly variable)
If you wanted, you could say this makes Human magic wielders Wizards and the Monsters as Sorcerers.
Anyways, I will try to get more stuff for the main story of Tales of Monster City as I can.
