Last year, during an art slump, I tried to get myself to paint again and did something Salvador Dali inspired.
There's something that alludes to Aniaitan myth here involving an unsettling destruction and a peaceful but futile resistance against great violence.
Really, it's kind of vague and meaningless, but I think that there's something about the bats on stakes that's very sad and tragic. Really, colors aside, the only thing I really like here are those bats.
The paint job is really sloppy. I could do so much better, man.

Alright. I'm a very very weird person, and getting me to admit something or be affected by anything strongly is a challange.
There is a sense when something feels "alien" not fear, not uncertainty, though those usually go hand in hand with it. This feels ALIEN to me. Love it.
