It's a late summer morning and Maya is getting back from a small trip, before getting back to her town, her little handmade stuff shop and her occasional street performances. Despite the still very high temperatures, Maya prefeers to walk instead of taking the bus as she loves walking and keeping her body active, afterall her clothes are light enough to let some air through and cool her fur and skin. Everything she wears is homemade, made by her. Sandals, pants, wristbands and top.
"I'm proud of this outfit! These pants let the breeze in and I don't feel hot at all! And these sandals, despite being a bit warm they are sooooo durable..."
Maya can't even finish thinking about this and the strip that holds her sandal on her foot breaks and the necessary to make a makeshift repair is riiiight in the bottom of her bag:
"Uff...They are a bit too trashed! I should have predicted it..."
A bus stop is several meters away from her. Without thinking twice about it and dragging her broken sandal behind, Maya slowly approaches the bus stop, a sort of poorly built canopy:
"Well... I guess I was destined to take the bus today! I'll wait here and see what I can do with this strap in the meanwhile!"
Well guys! I'm making some practice over painted backgrounds and I'm learning a lot from a book that teaches how to make anime-like backgrounds! It's in japanese... and I'm literally translating it with Google Lens (necessity makes virtue lol)... This was also a good occasion to draw Maya again! I should really give her some more love, poor thing!
