Malki and Kitten
...at least, that's the name of the little white cat until I figure out a proper name for him ^^;
*ahem*
Anyway, this is Boomer's younger brother, Malki. He looks very much like Boomer did when he was a kitten. He's rambunctious and playful and tries hard to prove himself a warrior every day so he can earn his Mohawk the way Boomer has. He has to undergo a manhood ceremony to wear it, but, he's far too young for that, now. I'll go into details of that later ^_^
Now, about the little white kitten...he's not just white, he's an albino. A white cat can exist within the isles of Catriona without much trouble, but an albino is hit and miss with the people. Albinos are believed by some to be diseased. Some believe that by simply touching an albino, they will lose their pigment, too, in the same way that people feared you could get AIDS by contacting a person with HIV or AIDS. Of course that's not the case, but still, there are some who are wary of them. He's also sensitive to light. The sun hurts his eyes more easily than a non-albinos and can also burn the skin beneath his fur and especially in his ears. It's the condition of all his people.
I think I'll write a bit more about these two laterz. ^_^

Before I say anything else, I just gotta tell you that I LOVE your avatar!! It makes me smile every time I see it! Anyhoo, thank you! ^_^
Oh? What names have you got? I want something that means Light or Pure, or something like that. I was thinking of Kiran, but, I'm not really loving that name.

Aww, thanks Sugarplum! *hugs*
Yeah, I wanted to add another dimension to the Sweet Shoppe. Although it has the appearance, it has its faults, too. Ignorance is one of them and unfortunately, when ignorance is coupled with fear, even children can suffer the brunt of its effects.
As for Malki, he'll certainly keep doing his best to earn that Mohawk, alright And I think you're right. Someday, I believe he'll get it, too

gorgeous... *takes a look at White Kitten* (- -.) so cute... *offers kitten an ice cream*... um.. a name for him? Well, I like some Like Dorian or Lain ( Present from god) Kenneth (Beautiful) Mael (Boss, Prince) or Quillan (Kitten, pup, baby) those are Celtic names, most of them are from where I live, and one of my brothers is named Kenneth (my younger bro xD) so, why don't you mix names from the lists to create a new one. I am sure you'll give him a great name *pets Kitten softly once before leaving* another character that takes my heart at once! Great Artwork
Kyo is my "other" fursona. Kinda my male half like Ryo is my female. haha.
only ref: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2847982/
But he has green eyes like Ryo.

Awww, such nice and handsome little fellows! (I'll refrain from using the word 'cute'- hey, they're boys! They won't like me calling them cute! =~.^=). Hee hee, and I really like Malki's attitude, too; "Hey, I'm a big boy, I can do all that stuff too, look!" =^_^=
I feel sorry for Kitten, though... poor guy! His albinism already gives him health problems, and on top of that h has to deal with all the prejudice he gets for simply being an albino! You can tell his sorrow in his expression...
*smiles*
The first name that popped into my mind when looking at him was "Bianco", which means 'white'. I was going to offer that name along with a whole list of suggestions for names that mean 'light', 'white' or 'pure', but darn if
didn't already beat me to it! =~.^= That are some great offers she gave you, too! I hope you will be able to find something in there you can use for this little fellow, or for other characters you might still create!
And for what it's worth... I have three books for naming cats, with names inspired by things as simple as food, or other cats of famous people, to names inspired by astrology, celestial bodies, biblical and other religious history, and mythology, and at least two of those books sort the names by fur color, so if you ever need help... this old greynose of a fluffcat and his books are at your disposal, milady =^_^=

Thank you! And yeah, I guess it's better to say "handsome" thank cute with these two!
Malki is eager to prove himself! He's much too young to make Napeu, but, when the time comes, he will seek it with gusto!
Kitten is a piteous character. His folk so often have it rough. People fear what they do not understand and their condition, although proven to be non-communicable, is still frightening to many people. He will need to be strong to endure and courage to keep moving forward.
Hmm...Bianco? ...that sounds interesting, too! *adds to list* Thanks! Any more names?

You're welcome! Haha, yes, and I think Malki would probably glare at me if I'd call him 'cute'... "Hey! I'm a big boy! I'm not girlie cute! I'm strong and tough and strong! Rar!" =~.^= I think that when the time for his Napeu comes, he will sail through it easily! =^_^=
*nods with a smile*
Yes, I really feel bad for the poor kitten. Prejudice is an awful thing to have to stand up against, so you have to be doubly strong to make it for yourself alright. I hope he will be able, despite his condition, to find the strength he will need to fight for his rights and make it good for himself =^_^=
*chuckles*
You're welcome again, too! Mmm, more names for an albino boy kitten... let's see.
*cracks his books*
Aristarchus (the brightest moon crater) - Ari for short
Canopus (second brightest star in the sky) - mmm.. perhaps more a name for a girl
Castor (a bright white star)
Merak (a star in the Big Dipper)
Parhelion (a bright spot on a solar halo, or 'mock sun')
Peterius (one of the moon's craters) - Pete for short?
Rigel (a very bright white star in Orion)
Sirius (the brightest star, white)
Spica (a white star in Virgo)
*chuckles*
This one is funny; Cattywampas. That can mean either a destructive hobgoblin or diagonally askew. With Kitten's dizzy spells, maybe he leans aside or veers askew when he gets one? =~.^=
Kamaria (African for moonlike)
Micetto (female form; Micetta) or Micino (Italian for kitten), Miciacco (pronounced mee-chahk-co; Italian for frisky kitten), or Micio (pronounced mee-cho; Italian for tomcat)
Baldur (the Scandinavian god of light)
Javotte (means 'white stream')
Vanova (mens 'white') - perhaps also better suited for a female, though.
Wynn (means 'white')
Here's one I think is very nice, too: Cistercian (Cis for short) - this name is the name of the 'white monks', called white after the undyed wool of their habits.
*chuckles*
I'll leave it at that for now, lest my comment becomes so long it runs off the page! =~.^= I hope you will be able to find a use for any of these names, milady! =^_^=

Oh yes, I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing what you come up with for him! His kitten adventures must be so funny and interesting! =^_^=
*smiles and purrrs*
And indeed, you are absolutely right, milady. That is a very beautiful notion, too. And you're very welcome! I'm glad I could help out a bit with some names. I hope that you can find some use for some of them, even if it's not for the nice little albino fellow right here =~.^=

Wheeeee! Lots of wonderful Kitty art over the past few days when I've been sick! And it all looks so amazingly wonderful! I have to say, Mint, Sugar and Sweetheart do indeed have a subtle difference to their fur hue which looks very good on them! And these two little guys are just sweeties! Poor Kitten, though, being regarded as some kind of contageous freak must be really hard for him!
*giggles*
I would offer the name "Chandra", which means something of 'moon-like', but that name just sounds much more feminine to me than masculine (I in fact have a female character named Chandra =~.^=)

Thank you! ^_^
Yeah, the color change doesn't show up much on laptops or old monitors, I've noticed. But, on new monitors, they show up very well. ^_^ And this little guy will make it, somehow.
Hmm, yes, Chandra does strike me as a girl's name. Thanks though It may come in handy later

You're very welcome, darling! I can see the slight change in colors, although it does vary dpending on whether I have the laptop sitting on a steady underground, or actually in my lap, hee hee!
And indeed, Chandra is a bit of a girlish name... but feel free to use it! My character named Chandra was a Dilute Calico cat girl, but I never got any further than writing just one or two scnes of her story, so I'm not using her, or the name, anymore =~.^=

Yeah, the difference in color between a laptop screen and a desktop is night and day! I'm afraid you won't really notice very much otherwise.
As for "Chandra" I definitely don't think I'll be going with that name (I have to look up what origin Chandra comes from) but, as I said, it may be useful later.

Yes, I know what you mean. I had that problem when commenting on a picture a friend of mine once did a couple of years back; I told him I thought his character looked really black. Even with my old screen's resolution turned all the way up high, it still looked black to me... while he assured me it was a very dark red, heh.
*smiles and hugs*
And no worries, darling! I did find out it's a both masculine and feminine name, but it still just doesn't sound right for a boy.
*winks*
The origin is Hindu, by the way =~.^= I looked it up for you, watch: http://www.behindthename.com/name/chandra =^_^=
