Clickety-clack reviews: take n play luke
It's been far too long since I've done a clickety-clack review. I was trying my best to decide what to review, but then I found this model...
My history: the first time I saw Luke was on a section of the Thomas website in 2012 that was promoting blue mountain mystery. However, until a certain date he was hidden in a tunnel and whenever you moved the cursor to him, he'd back up into the tunnel. Because I didn't see anything other than his eyes and buffer beam, I thought he was Duncan. Soon enough I watched the film and liked it. A few years ago I found his 2013 model at a local grocery store and got it.
Pros:
1: i like how they painted the bufferbeam red here.
2: it's great how he has his back windows and sides open, much like the ERTL models.
Cons:
1: while he had open back windows, there isn't any front windows, not even painted ones. It would've been so easy to do that and would've brought this model over the top.
2: the funnel is too short.
3: the face isn't really accurate to the show.
Final score: 7/10 good model, but there's room for improvement.
