So here is my room, in total disrepair. This is why I'm not currently working or streaming, I have to put together a bunch of stuff and I'm working on that now. So this room is like an old eggshell color, I first decided to paint it yellow with a gray accent wall, turns out the yellow lookin like doo doo. So I returned both gallons of paint much to the seething hatred of walmarts customer service and I don't blame them. I then bought a shade of green under pressure, realized it sucks and I couldn't return it because I got it from home depot. Many different trial size containers of paint later and pain in my wallet, I've chosen a shade of green on the right called Pine Garland. That brick you see in the wall is actually a cardboard 3D wall panel of some kind, fairly convincing where I'm going to frame it on the wall with some pine slats, put my fake fireplace in front of and then build a wooden box around it so it looks like a small built in fireplace. TV will be mounted up there, on both sides of the closet (I'm removing the doors) will be my desks, one for video games on the left and one for doing art on the right, this way I don't have to keep swapping monitors around which was a pain.
Outside that window is where my neighbors watch me as I have no curtains. They mostly see me sitting on the floor eating chicken and watching stuff on my laptop. Anyway thats where I am right now. The pictures suck because I took them on my built in laptop webcam and I put them together in MS paint. I'll be back to my commissions as soon as I get my computer set up. Now I have to go paint.

yeah they are different, the left one is the darkest and more of a mossy yellow green. I like the one on the right too. Normally I would have chosen a very light color but I've seen some rooms with this dark green and natural wood and it looks really good, hopefully I can pull that off.
I'm kind of afraid of darker colors because its a really confident thing. With lighter colors it can kind of work, doesn't really matter, but a dark color has to work or its a big problem. Right now though I'm just going for it, I've wasted much too much time messing around at home depot and walmart.
Moving bumps, that reminds me, we put a bit of a hole int he wall last night. I better spackle :V Oh boy more moving big, heavy, lotso stuff today. Oh and my tv wall mount didn't work, couldn't center it so I had to disassemble it and get it ready to send back. VERY FRUSTRATE!

Your new closet with the brick back-wall would be an awesome place to do green-screen recording (with the doors open, I mean); limited light knocking on the green or blue drapes, and it's nice and wide, big enough to have a chair with plenty of space to sit thus without being cramped for room.

There shall be excellent Chinese & Szechuan foods for fuzzle doge! Wuffperson Magick! ( P A F F! ) A full order of Mushroom, Shrimp and Pork Fried Rice each, two boxes of Chicken Soo Guy (with gravy and crushed almonds on the side) one South Sea Special Lo Mein and Vegetable Lo Mein, and a nice big tub of Breaded Chicken Balls, encountered by a Fuzzle Doge in his new digs. And an absurd number of Seafood Egg Rolls and fortune cookies. ^_^
(There may also be a Large Twix McFlurry, hiding happily amongst the foil tins and boxes.) :)

Naughtiness for the Naughty-Doge Fren, as always, at your service, Good Fuzzle! ^_^ There's one place, in all seriousness, that my family and I always order our Chinese & Szechuan take-out food from, here in Toronto. They were responsible for my trying (and in almost all cases liking) foods and ingredients that prior to doing so, I would never have touched (and with my sensory/texture & chewing troubles, I take a great deal of care when I'm trying a new food). The good thing about South Sea's foods is that while you can always eat an entire serving on your own (say, an order of chicken balls, or a cup of Hot 'n' Sour soup), they're really meant to be shared, if not communal. And we were getting food from there when I was tiny, so alone amongst the restaurants I've enjoyed food at, its association with my memory before I had my, shall we say, 'territorial' instinct when it came to food, meant that sharing food from South Sea Chinese & Szechuan Foods was never something I had a problem with.
One big thing that South Sea got me into, thanks to dishes my brothers or Mum or Da enjoyed, was spicy foods. And now I absolutely love spicy foods. My oldest brother loves dishes with Hoi Sin or specific signature dishes like General Tso's Chicken, and while it took me a couple of pieces of meat to enjoy it thoroughly, I did very much in the end. My favourite dish- one that I almost always have all to myself- is South Sea's Special Lo Mein, made with barbecued pork, beef slices, baby shrimp and chicken, spinach, carrots, onions and radish slices, all with a huge batch of angel-hair egg noodles, and mixed thoroughly with a very hot, and very sweet red-sticky sauce my Mum likes calling '2Paw's Sticky Joy', because I just love it, and because of that sauce it's rare anybody else wants some.

I'm not a fan of spicy stuff, I find it just hurts and prevents me from shoveling more tasty tasty eats in my big dumb fat head. I do love General Tso, though its rarely actually spicy, except in some cases where they throw those peppers in. Oh no I shouldn't be talking about food cause I'm fasting today.
Went to new china a few times out here, I'm not a big fan, I like China Dragon. My favorite place back in washington wasn't a chain, it was a family place called Miako Teriyaki. They had the best fried rice and teriyaki EVER. I mean I never get Teriyaki from any place because its always terrible and bland, but this stuff was like charr grilled with a thick sauce, I'd just get that and white rice. :'< how I miss it.

Noses a fuzzle doge; apologies for food nom referenculating! Snugs. Is blood work or medical biz today or tomorrow, thus? I guess with spicy for me, it really depends on the kind of spicy-ouch vs. spicy-strong-not-ouch. I don't ever plan on cramming my mouth with a dozen Chocolate Bhutlahs or Ghost Peppers (very, very hot nightshade peppers), but I love South Sea's Special Lo Mein sauce, and some of their other dishes as well. If I hadn't taken a crack at trying some of my family's chosen dishes on those occasions, I might never have known how much I do like a number of them.
If I'm getting a tray of 'Southern Fried Chicken' (it's breaded and baked in the rotisserie oven at my grocery's deli section, not actually fried in oil) at my local Loblaws (a grocery chain here in Canada) they have both a standard-breading and a spicy-breading, and I much prefer enjoying and eating the non-spicy version. Chicken wings I don't mind spicy (at least not overly so) but I still prefer milder seasonings.

I locked it in, so I'll be going with the green on the far right, Pine Garland, which sounds great. I hope it comes together at some point, I want my room to feel like a cozy space on on Chirstmas. With my fake fireplace, fake Christmas tree and the green/wood aesthetic.
I don't know how to sleep though. I slept in a closet for 2 years. Being able to shut myself off into this dark, quiet and enclosed space was really great. Now I'm sleeping on the floor in the middle of an open room and feeling freaked out like I'm gonna see some stuff standing in the corner.

that's what sleeping in unfamiliar places does to you. like the one time me and a friend went to eurofurence and caught a room at a little pension hostel not far away. thing was, the house was barely insulated and I heard people walk by on the street... after a hour of laying awake the friend came in, went to bed, started to snore, and thus drowned the unfamiliar noises. so I quickly fell asleep.
hey, maybe you can put up a kind of tent with dark drapes and such? might be worth a try.

I dont like unfamiliar places :V Most people don't fall asleep to snoring x3, I use a box fan, I have to have to have a fan to sleep. I've looked into these little tents that you put your mattress into but I think I'm getting a cabin style futon. :'< I think my closet sleepin days are over.
