Dr. Spectra is a Scientist who specialises in pokémon genetics and evolution
Toru is a Hariyama and the oldest of the pokémon team that Dr. Spectra inherited, A huge and powerful pokemon whose mastery of open-palm strikes is complemented by his body mastery. His Giant size was a separate experiment involving Mystery Candy. One of the more responsible pokémon of the group, he often helps the others with their training, from taking blows to his palms to wrestling.
He is best friends with Zen the Snorlax, the only other super heavy-weight pokémon in the stable.
