Not later than in her youth, Vireka was fitter than others of her age, but she became incomparable with others after spending some years in the army. While flying, she is able to manoeuvre very freely, and knows how to use these skills in battle. She can also use a gun; however, it should be clearly noted that she is a non-technical type of person. She is able to maintain and repair her gun, but she had to put much effort in order to learn it, especially that she sometimes has a problem even with operations as basic as handling a computer or mobile phone.

As a zealous Ayagan*, Vireka is able use thunder thaumaturgy, i.e. she is able to manipulate electricity. Because she cannot create it herself, she wears a bracelet on the wrist of her left hand which releases electricity after the button on the inner part of the palm is pushed. Thanks to that, she can use it in battle even when there is no source nearby.

She often wears military shorts, and is not really eager to put anything on her torso.

When it comes to her personality, Vireka could be described quite simply as a “tomboy”: it should be expected that the others will be afraid of her, and not the other way around. Her strong personality, together with the fact that she is rather impulsive, makes many people unwilling to mess with her. She is an extremely strong-will person, and that sometimes causes her problems; this is one of the reasons why she was once dismissed from the army. Nonetheless, she is very loyal towards those whom she is attached to; as long as you do not try to make her put aside her beliefs, you can count on her at any time, especially when it comes to saving somebody’s life. Vireka is fully aware of responsibility she often takes, so she sometimes insists that she will do everything without help of anyone; however, she is able to be reasonable. She does not avoid sarcasm and jokes (sometimes bad ones) either in conversations, which is her way of coping with stress.

Furthermore, Vireka is very interested in customs which were once developed by her people and are associated with Ayagana. Although she is not radical, and hates fanaticism in every form, she does not like having her religion scoffed at.

*It should be noted that only some worshippers of a given religion can even learn thaumaturgy in Ornithodea. Its kind depends on a god an aves believes (so, e.g., a worshipper of Phoenix may learn fire thaumaturgy).

Już w czasach młodości Vireka była sprawna ponad swój wiek, ale dopiero po tym, jak spędziła kilka lat w wojsku, stała się niezrównana. W locie potrafi bardzo swobodnie manewrować i wie, jak wykorzystać to w walce. Bronią palną też potrafi się posługiwać, przy czym należy wyraźnie zaznaczyć, że aveska jest „atechniczna”. Umie konserwować i naprawiać broń, ale w naukę tego musiała włożyć sporo wysiłku, zwłaszcza że problemy sprawiają jej czasem nawet czynności tak podstawowe jak obsługa komputera czy telefonu komórkowego.

Jako gorliwa ayaganka* Vireka potrafi posługiwać się taumaturgią gromu, tj. jest w stanie manipulować elektrycznością. Ponieważ sama nie umie jej wytworzyć, na nadgarstek lewej ręki zakłada bransoletę, która – po naciśnięciu przycisku na wewnętrznej części dłoni – wyzwala prąd, tak że może wykorzystywać go w boju nawet wtedy, gdy w pobliżu nie ma żadnego źródła.

Aveska często nosi spodenki wojskowe i niechętnie zakłada cokolwiek na górę.

Jeśli chodzi o osobowość, Virekę można najprościej określić jako „chłopczycę” – prędzej to ona będzie rozstawiała innych po kątach niż inni ją. Silny charakter w połączeniu z faktem, że aveska bywa porywcza, sprawia, iż wiele osób wolałoby z nią nie zadzierać. Ma ona tendencję do stawiania na swoim, co czasem przysparza jej problemów; stanowi to jeden z powodów, dla których została wydalona z wojska. Mimo to jest bardzo lojalna wobec osób, do których się przywiązuje; tak długo, jak nie próbuje się jej zmusić do odstawienia na bok własnych przekonań, można na nią liczyć w każdej sytuacji, zwłaszcza gdy chodzi o uratowanie życia. Vireka jest w pełni świadoma odpowiedzialności, którą na siebie bierze, dlatego niekiedy upiera się, że zrobi wszystko bez niczyjej pomocy; potrafi jednak zachować zdrowy rozsądek. W rozmowach nie unika sarkazmu ani żartów (czasami kiepskich) – to jej sposób na radzenie sobie ze stresem.

Oprócz tego Vireka bardzo chętnie poznaje zwyczaje kultywowane niegdyś przez jej lud, a związane z religią ayagana. Mimo że nie jest radykałem i brzydzi się fanatyzmem, nie życzy sobie, aby w głupi sposób szydzono sobie z jej religii.

*Należy zaznaczyć, że w Ornitodei wśród wyznawców danej religii tylko niektórzy są w stanie w ogóle poznać taumaturgię. Jej rodzaj jest uzależniony od boga, w którego wierzy aves (a więc np. wyznawca Feniksa może znać taumaturgię ognia).
