So Lt. Inki's career is currently on hold after her ship landed at a neutral station run by some rogue servitors, a group of machines that round up organics and forcefully pamper them, thinking they know what's right for them. Maybe they do, maybe they don't, either way, Stellaris has an awful lot of interesting stuff in it, the robots that feed you and take away your free agency is just one such thing.

Not gonna like, a whole species being subjigated and fed to be huge immobile fat sacks is pretty hot lol
Are Rogue Servitors from a certain DLC, or part of the base game? It's been forever since I've played, but stuff like this is getting me interested again lol

They are part of the Synthetic Dawn DLC, which adds machine empires to the game. Other special machine empires include determined exterminators (terminators/daleks) and driven assimilators (borg/cybermen). The Utopia DLC added hive mind empires and Megacorp DLC added corporate empires
It's a favorite of mine, and of course this particular type of robotic empire is very... appealing for certain reasons. Rogue servitors can be viewed in a variety of ways but the truths stand evident, they do everything for their organics, whether they want it or not. It is a complex game, you may want to look into some things before diving in, but it goes on sale all the time for cheap at least
