Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head is well fitting. I don't recall if I gave a head measurement, I believe she said one size fits all. She also was experimenting with moving jaws at the time so I asked for it on my head. Unfortunately, there is almost no tension and the jaw doesn't really move unless I widen my jaw, which also means the teeth may show when I'd rather the mouth closed. The visibility leaves a bit to be desired, especially in contrast to some heads I've tried, but that may just be the nature of my suit style and small, less toony eyes. The hair does get in my way on occasion but as is the nature of having fursuit hair and really, brushing out of the way is cute and photogenic! The nose is a bit tight as well. I think perhaps a head measurement would have helped but I simply don't recall if I gave one.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The eyes with the mascara are beautiful. The hair and ponytail in my tri-color hairstyle are Everything I dreamed of since I was little. I think it may be a bit asymmetrical but ah well. The way the hair falls when I dance or spin is awesome. My paranoia has me worried about whipping the ponytail around too hard but so far it's held up. The airbrushed markings on the muzzle make me a bit worried about lasting but we'll see. The shaving is good, can see the backing if you get up close but I'm sure that's the case with any suit and I'm probably just too detail obsessed. The lack of tension in the moving jaw let's the mouth hang open sometimes too, letting the teeth show and making me look like a dog I feel.

The ponytail is something I don't know if I've ever seen on another suit and it's done spectacularly. And for that I'm grateful! Same with the hair in general, it's rare to see a suit with hair. Especially hair as beautiful as mine :D

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The suit is comfortable! There's no backing on the inside but that's fine. The ankles may be a bit tight but that helps with dancing. Biggest issue is that I can't do a full crouch/squat effectively, which is a big part of my dances as I do hip hop inspired stuff. I may be able to fix it, but it also may be a result of my DTD so it's probably my fault. First suit after all. I'm constantly paranoid about random areas of tightness when I'm dancing but so far I haven't had many issues. The zipper popped open after my first talent show performance and me and my friend spent an hour in the headless lounge repairing the zipper, I'm not sure entirely why it happened but it's all good now and I haven't had any issues since. The zipper is kind of odd though, as it's not only backwards, on the back, but it's also very thin and metal. The zipper itself being most of my gripes honestly. I just used my suit for 4 days for a movie, and had to get 2 and sometimes 3 people to help get it on. The maker said it was backwards to avoid fur getting caught, but when the people in the costumes department of the movie I was filming are telling me fur is constantly getting caught, I'm not inclined to believe the maker. It's also the smallest and thinnest zipper of any of my friend's suits, and I'll definitely be replacing it with a thicker plastic zipper in the future. It's also ALSO backwards and on the BACK, meaning it's basically impossible for me to put the suit on by myself. I can't put a coat hanger through the zipper to pull it up either, and even if I could it'll catch all the fur. That part is really the biggest bummer. The reason she gave her putting the zipper on the back was because I have a treble clef airbrushed on to my upper chest (and also padded breasts), but then when I put the head on, the neck fur covers the markings on the chest anyway, so either she could have done the airbrush twice since it'd get covered, or the zipper on the front wouldn't have mattered. The zipper being hidden in the Mohawk I think is a cool idea though. In general I'm happy with the wear of it, but the zipper really keeps it far from perfect. I've recently had more popped seems I'll have to sew myself, but I imagine that comes with general wear.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The breasts were a last minute addition and they look fantastic. I asked for hip padding and she said I had enough hips already based on the DTD which was definitely flattering, but a part of me still would've liked to be a bit thicc. I have no issues with the shaving of the fur, the different lengths really add nice depth. The markings are all perfect, even the music notes on each arm. All the fur colors are accurate, which was a concern of mine but the look I couldn't be happier with (other than the chest treble clef being covered as mentioned above). ^^

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
Beans! My orange paw pads are to die for, honestly. They look so good. I went for silicone, so any imperfections I understand are from the curing process. No lining, and 5 fingered which is not typical for hand paws! She didn't ask for any hand measurements, which I think may have helped, even a hand trace. But, lately, I'm having some weird vanishing fur issues. I've had fur get "ripped out" on both index fingers somehow. I got glued the left hand so it looks better, though now my hand doesn't fit as nicely inside. And I'm sad I'm gonna have to do the same thing to my other hand paw. I really don't know what to do about it, she doesn't seem to know how it's happening either. I don't wanna have to start thinking about replacements but I might. The feet are great! The Indoor and outdoor paws are both cute and identical other than the bottoms. I think the insides are a slipper she made herself, and I've never been able to put them on with the back of the slipper intact cause they're just fabric basically. Overall satisfied but concerned with the hands.

Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The tail fits nicely into the bodysuit, as they are separate and not attached. The belt loops is interesting and I often get comments from friends on it, as rather than elastics it's a loop of fake leather/vinyl. The tail itself is very soft and seems to almost be stuffed with bean bags rather than fluff in the way it feels.

The stripes and mohawk are amazing!!! It sways really nicely. I'm in love with the appearance and it's become my favorite tail I own. Matches the concept art and is absolutely beautiful ^^

How was your concept art realized?
She really nailed it and gave me confidence with her previous suits that she could pull of the character, hair and all, and I know that's a big ask. But she came through and it's aesthetically everything I could ask for. Seeing the tricolor hairstyle I created as a kid come to life was amazing.


How well does everything fit together and match up?
When it's all on, it's really Cassidy. The look is accurate, it's really everything I could've asked for appearance wise. I understand the intricacies of suit wearing and wear over time which I anticipated and am ready for, so it's possible I'm nitpicking more than a normal fursuiter, but really I am definitely pleased. I got a wicked suit for a great price from a fantastic maker. I'm in love, and when people see me they fall in love too <3


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
I discovered her on Twitter, found her website, got a quote and within days was chatting about proceeding.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
She usually responded at least once a day, it was primarily over telegram.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Beyond thrilled with her professionalism, even for accommodating my dumb mistakes like the tail length or my panicked freak outs, it really was fine in the end and she took care of it all ^^


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
She is so freaking fast I don't know how she does it. I got my suit before many of my friends had even gotten to their que spot, support small makers! Shipping was speedy too! I paid a bit more for four day shipping from Costa Rica if you can imagine that cost lol.


Are you happy with the product you received?
Expectations definitely exceeded for appearance, for wear I'm a bit worried still. Very worth what I paid. I think the tail will be the part that lasts the longest, and then the feet paws. I can see myself using it constantly for the coming future. If I was gonna replace any part, it'd probably be the body just to get hips and better dancing flexibility but really that's still not a big issue.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
Support small makers! I got my suit paid, done and shipped while my friends waited on larger makers, their suits still just a distant twinkle in their eye. It does pay off! I am extremely happy. I would work with her again for sure. And I've already recommended her to my local friends, one of which is already commissioning her!
