I made this for two reasons:
1. I needed better references for these characters. I tend to neglect my centaurs because they're a bitch to draw.
2. I wanted to show that Elska and Big Philly aren't a good representation of the "average" centaur. Elska is a big ol' shaghoof, which is the largest breed of centaur. As for Philly...well, she's just a freak of nature. No one knows why she's so damn huge, but yeah, they can sometimes get that big.
Sometimes people ask me "if gaian civilizations mostly live in the stone age, how haven't they all been conquered yet?" and the answer is...look at these freaking things compared to the dude. Centaurs are like living tanks. If Elska charged a group of humans at 40mph with a wooden club, they'd all explode into red mist on impact. You don't need no fancy techmology when you're 2,000 pounds of pain, baybee.
