[Slight spoilers for Star vs. the Forces of Evil in the italics story below <:3]
When you’re a powerful manipulator, and you can get your servants to do whatever you want, it can be hard to want to do anything yourself. Once Toffee settled into Ludo’s Castle, it was only a matter of time before even he found himself lazing around all day, progressively ordering for more and more sandwiches to be brought to him, as everyone else pulled all of the weight in taking care of the castle. Eventually, pounds upon pounds of fat began to pack onto the frame of Toffee, and even he was SURPRISED at how quickly he was able to gain! And all of the poundage and heft didn’t feel too bad either… heck, perhaps he could use all of this flab to his advantage. He was originally going to go through with a plan to infiltrate the magic dimension and destroy it and magic from the inside, but honestly, that would be too much work now. Instead, what if he could just grow and grow, hardly doing anything but letting others stuff him with sandwiches, while smothering absolutely everything with his gargantuan obesity, including magic? It is truly a flawless plan! Well, perhaps not, but what else could such a slovenly individual even do? ;3c
Hooray, two new pics in a relatively short time period! What a rarity nwn/
But yeah, if you couldn’t tell, I reeeally like Toffee! He was such a memorable villain, and his whole personality and demeanor was just so amazing to watch <3
If you don’t mind, for this next short section, there will again be SvtFoE spoilers, so beware reading the next section! Skip ahead if you don’t wanna read anything spoilery!
It still makes me a bit sad though that after Toffee’s end in season 3, he never came back. While we got that one last SURPRISE moment, I still feel like the pieces were there in the show to feasibly revive Toffee. As well, there’s still so much that we don’t know about him! Part of me hopes in the future that we’ll somehow get more content with Toffee even though the show is over, but I suppose the chances are slim of that happening ^^;
One can hope, I suppose <:3
End spoilers! But yeah, regarding the actual art, I feel like I did pretty good with this one. The sketch for this pic is perhaps even around a year old, so I’m proud with how the drawing held up, in my opinion :p
Also, in all honesty, with this pic and the Gregg pic, I was planning to give them just white backgrounds… but geez, it’s hard for me to keep things simple <:3c
Whenever I can, adding a background relevant to the content to me really makes things feel more “believable,” at least within the show’s universe. And even the, adding in background colors just makes things feel a lot better overall than just plain white ^^;
Otherwise, though, I hope you all enjoyed Toffee being quite a fatso ^^
