The foreshortening mentioned in the title refers to Rainbow Dash's hindlegs. Normally all "major strokes" of a vector should be of the same width, but if two parts of the same object are at vastly different Z-coordinates, reducing the stroke width in the faraway part may be necessary. Here she is flying and facing front, which gives rise to such a disparity.
