It's why I loved the old hotel of FC, because Denny's was just at the corner of the street.
I wish I would have been able to try the new hotel this year, and go back to FC, but who knows, maybe next year I will be able to come back.

I have never been to a Denny's, i'm not sure if they have them in Canada. Would love to try it though.

Denny's I've tried in US were quite ok, and during a convention, it's very convenient to have some places like that, not too far from the hotel, open all day long and with a good selection of meals and drinks at every prices. It was nice to have it at the old hotel of FC, where all other places were hard to go to without a car or without using public transportation.
I think there should be some more opportunities to find good places to eat at the new hotel too, as it seems it was in a more touristic place than the old one. I usually prefer to try to eat in new places everytime I can, but sometimes it's good to be able to rely on a place or a name you already knew and that you know that there will be at least something edible there ^_^!

Yeah, i love trying new restaurants too, i find when i go back to a place i have been i end up getting the same thing i got last time. Kinda like at Quizno's, I love all their subs, but i got stuck getting just the chicken carbonara. I keep going and saying to myself "Okay this time i am gonna get something new.... how about that one?... yeah.. that one looks good, I will get that" then the person asks me what i want and i am like "Chicken Carbonara please", then i'm like Crap! not again! lol
