1 box jumbo shells
1 lb italian sausage
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 c. parmesan
2 c. mozzarella
1 jar spaghetti sauce of your choice (I make my own.)
recommended spices: pinch of basil, parsley, green onion, very finely chopped red onion, and garlic.
Brown the meats and cook the pasta, let both cool. Combine 1/2 of the cheese (both motzarella and parm.) with the meat. Once the pasta is cool carefully uncurl each shell and fill with about 2tbs of the meat and cheese mixture. Place open-side down in large casserole dish. Repeat until you've filled them all. Pour the sauce over the back of the shells, being sure to cover evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on the top of the shells, and top the cheese with a little bit of spice.
Bake at 350 until cheese is melted and bubbly.
