Ingredients:
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 large red onion
5 cloves garlic
1 medium braeburn apple
1 medium bosc pear
1/2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tbsp. basil
Pinch fennel seed
1 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp. cumin
Pinch Italian seasoning
1 tsp. garlic salt
3/4 cup tomato sauce


Instructions:
1. Heat up a deep pan with butter
2. Chop up red onion and put in pan when butter melts
3. Chop garlic and put in pan when onions are translucent
4. Peel one medium-sized braeburn apple, chop into bite-sized pieces, and put in pan
5. Peel and chop one medium-sized bosc pear, and put in pan
6. Sprinkle a half-tablespoon of sugar over mixture, leave in pan on low heat for 10 minutes
7. Add one can of stewed tomatoes, leave mixture for another 5 minutes
8. Add basil, fennel seed, cayenne pepper, cumin, Italian seasoning, garlic salt and cover/simmer 5 minutes
9. Add 3/4 cup of tomato sauce, cover/simmer 10-15 more minutes
