The Asenzi plant, one of many carnivorous plant-based life forms on Dolivia, are known for their convenient use around villages and homes. They feed off of scum and grime by devouring passing by living beings and washing them clean with pleasantly hot water. The water is no different to tap water but Tribesmen and Women still keep them around for being both Therapeutic and Sterile!
After the events of the great abandon, Asenzi Plants became more popular once they started growing a much more interesting color pattern on their heads. Hence why they are now kept mostly in homes, and sometimes on the sides of streets. Though they do make lousy security traps for trespassers.
They do not digest living beings, so being eaten by one has been purely for the prey's pleasure, or the plant being hungry for any dirt you track onto your body.
