Are these two actual wolf puppies or huskie mixes?! Adorable!

They're 80% wolf 20% malimut :)

<3 malamutes. And wolfies! They are going to be beautiful when they are all grown up!

They really are. I had two before these. They stood about 3 foot to their backs. And were about 95lb lol They were rather large. Much larger than they were supposed to get. And they both got parvou and it stunted their growth... So they would have been probably more like 3 1/2 foot to their backs and about 140lb >.> I miss them... They vanished about a year ago... So we went and got two more. :)

My family had two pyrenese/malamute girls and oh man they were big and gorgeous. Now my parents have the great grand-daughter who is a loveable little crazy girl who also has shep/pitbull mix. And they are loving animals!

Wish I could see them. I love animals.

I'll post a pic of CeCe someday and try to get the pics from my folks to scan them :) Well to have my friend scan them lol.

Are these real wolves?

Well I hope you can handle them... Wolf mixes are not like dogs... o_o

They're sweeter than any other type of canid I've ever seen. I had two of them couple years ago. They were big babies. ^^ And jealous as sin... lol

Well it's good you've handled them before. I've heard too many horror stories of people owning them and then not being able to care for them.

Horror stories? Most are made up because people fear what they don't understand. Wolves are just like any other canid. They've got a natural fear of the human figure. So you have to work with them constantly. If one turns out to be a "bad" animal. It's because the owner treated them badly. Because a wolf will see you as it's alpha in it's pack and will always follow you and always back down to you and will obey much better than any other type of canid. They don't make good guard dogs. Because you're the guard dog to them. Since the alpha protects it pack. They're also immune to all sorts of deseases. The only thing I know they can catch is Parvou. Which is lethal if you don't get them to a vet in time. (I know too much about wolves) lol

That's not what I meant. I mean people getting wolves, not realizing they need a lot of work, and dumping them off at a shelter that can't deal with them. Or abandoning them.

Ah ok. I understand that then. They do take a lot of time. I tend to try to spnd at least 5 hours a day with them.

That's awesome! X3 I'm glad to hear it, I'm afraid of some of the people on this site that see a picture of a wolf or fox cub and go "OMG CUTE I WANT ONE." ;_;

Yes, but you have to give everyone the benifit of a doubt. You can't automaticly assume that someone will be a bad "parent" to them.

I didn't say that I did. But people that get animals just because they're "cute" rarely consider the needs of said animal, especially of a high-maintenance one. It's better for the animal and animal's health to be skeptical of a person taking one into their care on the basis of cuteness. :)

Yes, but I always lecture the said people before I hand the animal over. And then I monitor the animal to make sure they're getting the care they deserve.

And that I consider good. Not all people are that responsible, thus I worry about the "OMG IT'S CUTE MUST HAVE" people who don't always get their pets from good breeders.

Well, I'm not a breeder just yet. But I'm working on it. And I'm devoted to wolves. So I'll be keeping tabs on anyone who gets one. Plus I'll probably be running backgrounds on the people also. :)
