This is a very nice background/scenery sketch. Love the back shift bridge/dam and the look of the fallen buildings. Any tips on how to get into ding backgrounds? I have trouble with them and when I do draw them they seem divorced from the character I draw.

I used mostly rough perspective lines and random shapes to make this quick, with the collapsed building across river being focus. Something like that?
