Here's a commission I received from u/Roxirin on Reddit. Kaela is an adoptable I purchased a month ago from FA. Being my first adoptable, I couldn't help but imagine a background for her in a post-modern, approaching-sci-fi world I've been slowly building up.

Her name is Kaela Rulf. She's a young barista from a large Starbucks-esque chain, to which her employment takes place within a bustling industrial park that manufactures large products such as aerospace tools and parts. Kaela grew up secluded and quiet, but came out of her shell after receiving her high school diploma. Since then, she turned away from reading her life away to finally focus on her goal in life to study astronomy. She doesn't know exactly what she wants to do yet, but she knows she wants to gaze upon the cosmos. In fact, she loves the stars so much she perma-dyed her fur to represent her star system.

For now, Kaela must focus on building up her finances to pay for her tuition and supplies when she goes to college. Making money in the customer service market means she has to deal with a lot of unruly customers. A lot of the production workers on the manufacturing floors tend to be particularly harassing; Kaela is a young and free-spirited individual that a lot of the dirty, sweaty technicians and operators find attractive. Luckily for Kaela, she hardened to the flirtatious crews rather quickly. It didn't take long for Kaela to fight back, shooting back with demeaning insults and shooting down requests for dates, dotting her rebukes with vulgar curses. Kaela earned her reputation as a sassy and quick-witted character who you would rather keep happy, lest you encounter her wrath.
