Finally finished this gal!

Calling them Crackles for now:

The females are the dominant of the species.
Females have a special mineral they produce that collect on their back, which also includes the yellow goo-like substance they can force through the crystals causing them to explode.
Bigger and highly territorial towards other females, they fight in three ways: Rattlings and shining their crystals, "shooting" their crystals at each other, or headbutting.
With males (as you'll see soon) they are smaller and don't have the crystal back like females do, they must impress the female by hunting and catching prey for her.

Small details:
Their tongue can reach up to 7ft
they do have nostrils, it's near the eyes under the "headplate"
Just because she weighs a ton doesn't mean she can't catch you.

Important note:
The goo-like substance they create have elemental properties: acidic-green, "fire"-red-feels like you're on fire, "electric"-blue-feels like you're being shocked non stop, ice-white-instantly frozen upon touch. Although with their tough skin, only the crystals can hurt each other.
