Memorial piece for a cute little dachshund named "Lavender". The portrait was ACTUALLY commissioned by someone's mother at AC because I was organizing some artwork and she spotted "Fenrir" ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31800372/ ) and decided she'd like to buy one while her son browsed my more traditionally-Anthrocon-Friendly artwork. It was a very sweet interaction and I'm really happy about the number of moms and dads I've been able to talk to about the community over the past summer; and pieces like the pet portraits have kind of helped cement as an artist who may not be kid friendly but one that IS nice to have at cons as a good representative for the community. Good deal!

Some people have commented that they don't like the pronged collar, that's fine if you feel that way but I painted it because it was what the dog wore in the reference photos. No I am not going to berate a customer on behalf of a now deceased pet, please do not ask about it. Blocked if you try to find a way around this just so you can leave a comment about a painting of a collar you don't like in a picture of a dog that is no longer alive and is owned by someone you do not know.
