The world gets its first taste of Lemboe the Island Lion, the Indonesian parallel of Leo, who immediately makes his mark in society with his martial arts. Meanwhile, Canada suffers humiliation when select members of its government decides to pass around photos of Justin Trudeau in blackface, only to have Levi fire all of them when he loses his temper. Levi later apologizes for his actions and assumes he's thrown his career in the trash can.

Chuong: Great... So this year began with anti-vaxxers, Area 51 raid jokes, now Trudeau in blackface. I don't know where this is going but it's only going to get more weird from here!
Kirk: I don't know but something tells me next year isn't going to get any better!
Juno: Well we are going to Japan so other than the typical weirdness there, I doubt it's going to be any worse.
Zax: I hope the Olympics go smoothly if not better than the one back in Korea. Man good times and memories back in Korea. Asides from the British streaker, at least Kyu kept his cool.

Dalton: Exactly and because of that, Korea rightfully permanently banned him from visiting that country again.
Kang-Dae: We Koreans were shocked and grossed out at it. But at least no major drama blew up from that event asides from a few terrorist-related incidents.
Zax: The Koreans are nice and fun but they seem to come off as stiff sometimes.
Chuong: The ones who live in Seoul's Gangnam District are obsessed with their appearances since that's their version of Hollywood. Koreans in Gangnam have this mindset where expensive things are meant to be shown in public and modest living should be at home in private. Of course these days, even the rich in the west are adapting to modern minimalism quite well.
Zax: Steve Jobs used to live the modern minimalist life when he embraced Buddhism. That's why his products to this day tend to be popular among minimalist designers. I wished Leo and his parallels see that more rich people adapt to modern minimalism well and that not all forms of modernism is bad. Then there's Liwei who not only adapts to modern minimalism in his home well but has Singaporean and Chinese traditional elements in his home.

Chuong: Do remember in the past that lots of paper were used that we were buried in them. Not to mention, we used to cut down trees for them since bamboo, despite being a fast-growing plant, wasn't enough to keep up with the demand for paper. Today, our paper is made from recycled paper waste and bamboo. Gotta have room for those trees!
