Yvonnette was a wolf on a mission. When rumors of a hugely muscular and somewhat Lupine looking Ninetales started popping up coinciding with WulfBane’s sudden disappearance, she had a hunch what may have happened.
At present, her search had her combing through the Unova region. While asking for clues, one kind woman lead Yvonnette to Pledge Grove. She said there was a large rock with marks on it that just had to have been made by a Pokémon. Perhaps it was her Wulf testing his new form.
Upon close inspection, it is certain that the gashes made to the enormous stone were made by some sort of Pokémon attack, it wasn’t like anything she would expect a fire type capable of, even if it was augmented with WulfBane’s strength. There wasn’t a trace of any scorch marks in the slashes. It looked more like they were carved by swords. Three different swords if she was seeing it correctly.
Her knowledge of Pokémon was limited but she asked to borrow the Pokédex of a local trainer. There she found the legend of a trio of Pokémon known as The Swords of Justice. If the legends were to be believed, this is where each of these masters demonstrated their combined attacks to inspire their trainee to learn the techniques of the Secret Sword. Based on the descriptions of the Swords of Justice, she was even able to deduce who left each of the gouge marks. Rubbing her paws through the cuts, judging their depth, width, and cleanliness, she recited each of their names as she traced the scars left in the hardened stone.
“Cobalion. Terrakion. Virizion.”
And with that, she suddenly saw the images of the very trio she was reading about. The spirits of these legendary Pokémon spoke to Yvonnette’s mind, commending many of her traits. Her speed, ingenuity, and tenacity. But above all they praised her sense of justice and resolve. ”You have proven to be worthy to wield the Secret Sword! The specters of legends long past then focused their essence on the wolfesse, infusing her with their power.
The changes felt soothing. Cooling. Refreshing. Her hair turned to a shade of red with a trio of strands colored green, orange, and aqua blue, resembling the colors of the three masters. Her neck was surrounded by long strands of fluffy light blue fur. Her tail soon changed to match although she did retain the dark red ends that had accented her natural tail. Her feet turned to hooves. One changed to blue while the coloring of the left stayed unchanged as a reminder to the single red sock featured on her lupine form. Her hand paws also turned blue and combined with her feet, she recognized these as features of Keldeo, the one that the Swords of Justice took in as their apprentice and then successor.
There was one last defining feature to add to her new form. Above her newly elongated eyebrows a horn began to emerge. A shade of dark blue, the horn grew long. Solid with several ridges along its length. A focal point for her new water based powers as well as a remarkable natural weapon for fighting. The eponymous Secret Sword befitting a resolute Keldeo.
It would take some time to get the hang of harnessing her new power to manipulate water. Soon enough she was controlling the waves and bending the oceans to her will. The search of WulfBane will resume shortly and now she would have very effective advantage if he tries to resist.
Another Pokemorph by Anubiis_Werewolf, this time Yvonnette as an anthro Resolute Keldeo. I really like the merging of both chracer’s colors and features together.
