I think the original version is good; gives a nice sense of scale, which in turn gives a sense of adventure I feel (it's also nice to see all the extra details from the original).

Either way, it looks incredible. I really like the way you do these.

I feel like the cropped version amplifies the sense of scale and makes the background machine seem larger than in the original.
