I was home alone Friday night and was looking for something to do to entertain myself. I ended up rolling a warrior alt, because I have never really played the class. I also decided on playing a nelf, since I can do all of the Horde starting areas in my sleep, and I've never really done the nelf quests. I'm not a huge fan of night elves, but I have to admit I'm having a ton of fun, and am growing quite fond of this guy. I've gotten myself lost in Darnassus, Stormwind and the Exodar several times now. It's nice to have everything new and interesting in the game again.
He has a pet moth, because they are both fuzzy, and both have silly things growing out of their heads.
Too bad all of the male nelf faces are so frowny. At least I can draw him smiling.
Quick graphite sketch.

I recently made my first ally too, which coincidentally was also a nelf. (Though I made a druid because playing as a giant chicken is awesome.) It just hit 80 the other day, and now that i've gone through all of the alliance quests I'm actually considering playing my nelf primarily.
The alliance side of things is so different, at first I find they come off as kind of bad. Something like a society that's trying to be good but is really just kind of corrupted. But as you go through outland and then northrend it's suddenly like 'oh hey, we were the good guys after all'.
The alliance always seemed cheesy to me when I was playing horde, but now it makes a lot more sense... even if it still is a little bit cheesy.
