A massive and dramatic rose-adorned gothic badger skull pendant that Morticia Addams herself would adore! This piece isn't meant to accent an outfit: this piece is meant to be the centerpiece of an outfit! I wore it myself to a recent event and I had strangers noticing it from across exhibit halls, making O.O faces and beelining over to ask me about it. This baby draws attention and steals the scene!
The badger was a natural decease processed by me using nature-safe methods. It is fully clean, odorless and yuck-free just like all of my finished skulls and bones are. The skull has most of its teeth and is damage free. Nice and solid, no flaking or cracking.
Handmade polymer clay roses bloom all over the skull in intense shades of my homemade shimmery 'fire purple' and 'sea dragon green' with gunmetal vines and leaves curling among the blooms and buds. Dottings of bright silver and a few tiny white Swarovski crystals add a little flash. Real liquid silver leaf coats the teeth and the underside of the skull and the topmost side shifts to a deep glossy black that contrasts wonderfully against the vivid rose colors.
Total pendant length is 5 inches, height is 3 inches width is 3 1/2 inches.
This big chonker of a pendant hangs on a stout gunmetal chain that closes with a lobster clasp and is attached to circle inks drilled into the crista occipitalis (back edges of skull for those less versed in anatomy.) The chain is 18 inches and allows the skull to rest just beneath the collarbones on the average person, as is generally best for a pendant of such size. *If the buyer would like the chain length adjusted I will gladly do so for no additional charge! Simply include your preferred chain length with your order and allow an additional day or two for processing.
Satin to glossy finish. The lower mandible has been epoxied securely into place and cannot be removed or closed. Roses and vines/leaves cannot be removed either.
