Hey- have I mentioned that I write a whole mess of stories and some of them just maybe... might... kinda... sorta... have some of those "My Little Pony" things in them...?

Eeeyup. *smirks* I do.

This image goes along with a couple of stories I wrote up a while back involving a very far-flung future. In this world there were no longer any of the races so familiar in the show or the IDW comic series, no ponies, buffalo, griffons, yaks, dragons, or changelings. The only race in all of the known lands was a sort of fluffy-fuzzy insectoid equine known as The Mothlings. For thousands of years they have been the only species in Equestria or any of the surrounding continents. They had legends, of course, stories of ages past involving heroes and villains, feats of magic and tales of wondrous adventure... but how much of that is all just myth and fantasy is anylings' guess and a highly-contested topic among scholars and Layling alike.

In the introductory tale, three somewhat familiar mothling nymphs Sweet Nectar, Fruit Blossom and Scooter, all decide to settle an argument about that very question the only way that made any sense- to travel to The Great Crystalline Palace and take the question to The Empress a pair of immortal beings, lovers. They were said to know everything, to make the sun rise and the stars fall, to hear every whispered cry into the hive-mind of the race and to answer every heartfelt need. Each of them was also one of a kind, in their own way equally terrifying as they were beautiful and they were said to have a love so strong that they were one being in shared bodies.
