Sid the Skeleton's Halloween costume

Lately I've been reading a neat Halloween book: "The Skeleton Haunts a House," which is part of Leigh Perry's "Family Skeleton Mysteries" series. The premise of the series involves a living skeleton named Sid living with the Thackery family and helping solve mysteries. For this third installment, Sid loves Halloween because he's able to go out in public for a change, and because he's a fan of old cartoons, this year he dresses himself up in a Scooby-Doo mascot-style costume, while his female friend Georgia goes as Velma! But then a real mystery - a murder - happens in the haunted house set up at the university Georgia works at and her daughter Madison attends, and so Sid doffs his Halloween Scooby suit to go incognito as a skeleton prop inside the haunted house to help crack the case!
So of course, I couldn't resist tugging on my rubber skull mask along with my own Scooby-Doo costume (with plush Maskimal head) to dress up as Sid dressed as Scooby for Halloween!
