-This was NOT done by me; just commissioned. Will link the original when it becomes available. In the meantime, please watch the artist here.
One of the rare times I will not be posting a typical description to accompany this piece because, well I think the piece speaks for itself.
That, and contrary to how gorgeous it looks, this is only a wip! Yes, really...a wip. I will re-upload this piece once it is complete later on. I just could not resist ending the summer with this piece, and my friend was nice enough to allow me to post the wip of it-
A tired, battleworn warrior seeks solace from the world around her.
Whisper cleanses herself in a nearby spring, as if trying to purge the misery and countless bloodshed she has seen and been through from her spirit and mind. But she knows better. There is no peace, no rest. Not yet.
All she can do is prepare for what is to come and hope she is ready to take on life's challenges.
She watched as the petals, slowly withering away with the season, filled the water around her, painting its surface a blood red. She lets out a deep breath. The chimes from a nearby temple sang in the autumn breeze.
The season is about to change.
...as was she. And she was ready.

Last piece of the summer. This piece seemed so appropriate to end summer and bring in autumn with. I want to give a HUGE thank you to the artist behind this piece feilong. I swear it seems like the pieces he created all form a nice little storyline.
Whisper is going on a small art hiatus while her fur changes colors for the season- but don't worry, I have some exciting art planned for her in the coming months, so stay tuned~

"She wore her troubled past like scars-
She had been through battle
and though no one could see her demons,
they could see the face that conquered them."
